Desafio 8, Laranja e Unhas Temáticas - Challenge # 8, Orange, Thematic Nails

This thing of thematic nails have turned out fun for me! And a dream... if I had my own nail polish collection...

To accomplish this challenge, I applied one coat of Fagulha, by Colorama, A Fórmula Secreta collection. It's a far pigmented creamy dark orange. After having dried, I also applied one generous coat of Amsterdã, by Eliana Super Pérola (nowadays it's just Super Pérola). This one is a pearly light peach polish with some golden shimmer. Unfortunately, when applied, this shimmer tends to fade away... = (

Both polishes were awesome to clean and dry. This Tangerine, by Rock Ur Nails, was inspired by the song Tangerine, by Led Zeppelin, a classic of 1971, when I didn't have any clue what rock'n'roll was.

Esse lance de unhas temáticas se tornou divertido pra mim. E um sonho, se eu tivesse minha própria linha de esmaltes...

Para cumprir mais esse desafio, passei uma camada do Fagulha, da Colorama, da coleção A Fórmula Secreta e depois de seco, passei uma camada generosa do Amsterdã, da Eliana Super Pérola (hoje em dia é apenas Super Pérola, mas com a mesma qualidade), que puxa mais para o pêssego. Apesar de ter um certo shimmer dourado, ele some, depois de seco... = (

Ambos os vernizes foram ótimos para limpar e secar. Enfim esse é o Tangerine, da Rock Ur Nails, inspirada pela música Tangerine, do Led Zeppelin, um clássico de 1971, quando eu nem suspeitava o que era rock'n'roll.

Desafio 7, Vermelho - Challenge: # 7, Red, Ludurana

Red. One of the sexiest colors ever! I show you on this post this creamy and deep red, called Encanta (Enchant), by Ludurana. This shade of red enchants me indeed. Under the sunlight is a little bit lighter than in the shadows, but this color is deep red, actually. Moreover, this polish is classic and elegant. Two coats, dries fast, although is a little bit hard to clean, but nothing to worry about.

Vermelho é uma das cores mais sexies que há. Neste post, apresento o Encanta, esse lindo tom de vermelho, bastante intenso, cremoso. Adoro esse tom mais fechado de vermelho, realmente me encanta. Sob o sol, ele parece mais claro, mas na sombra, a cor é mais fechada. De qualquer jeito, é um belo verniz, clássico e elegante. Duas camadas, seca rápido, embora um tanto chato para limpar, mas nada para se preocupar.

Realce, Coleção Galáxias - Realce, Galaxias Collection

Despite of this collection has been released two months ago, I didn't see reviews enough and some of my friends, also polish lovers, even knew about it!
Actually, I learnt about it because I had gone to Sumire (Itaquera), two weeks ago to purchase my Hits MTV glitter bottles and I came upon with this amazing collection! What got my attention was the names of the polishes. I love Astronomy and Astrophysics, so I felt really full of joy :-P

Apesar dessa coleção ter sido lançada há 2 meses atrás, eu não vi muitos reviews sobre ela e mesmo algumas amigas minhas, também esmaltólotras, nem sabiam disso!
Na verdade, eu só soube porque há 2 semanas atrás fui na Sumirê (Itaquera) para comprar alguns Hits, da coleção MTV, e dei de cara com essa coleção incrível! O que me chamou a atenção foi os nomes dos esmaltes. Eu amo Astronomia e Astrofísica, então fiquei super mega master feliz :-P

Well, I love this brand. Realce is a very well known brand here in Brazil. Its polishes are cheap and the quality is really good. I've never got disappointed with a Realce bottle. To this collection, Buraco Negro (Black Hole, one of the most intriguing phenomena of Astronomy) is a creamy black polish, used as a base to the other 3 colors. Supernova, Andromeda and Hanny are coats, all of them are really shimmery and not sheer.

Eu amo essa marca. Realce é uma marca muito conhecida no Brasil. Seus vernizes são baratos e a qualidade é muito boa. Eu nunca me desapontei com um esmalte da Realce. Nesta coleção, Buraco Negro (um dos fenômenos mais intrigantes da Astronomia) é um preto cremoso, usado como base para os outros 3. Supernova, Andrômeda e Hannys são coberturas, todas muito brilhantes e nada ralinhas.  

I couldn't resist, so here you are, this wonderful black (black IS wonderful) polish as base and Hannys as a coat. I'm really impressed by the outcome, shiny and it lasted for 3 days (because after this time I had to remove it to apply another polish!). I applied 2 coats of the black polish and 1 generous coat of Hannys. No top coat was needed. Very shimmery indeed.Let me explain that although Supernova, Andromeda and Black Hole (Buraco Negro) are obvious, Hannys is not; it's an astronomical object but its nature is unknown. Here, a picture, and there's this streaming gas... this was the inspiration for the color of the coat. For more info access the brand's blog and see the swatches of all collection.

Eu não pude resistir e aqui está, esse preto maravilhoso (preto é maravilhoso, dãããrrr...) como base e Hannys como cobertura. Fiquei mesmo impressionada com o resultado, o brilho e durou por 3 dias (porque depois tive que tirar para passar outro esmalte!).

Apliquei 2 mãos do esmalte preto e 1 bem generosa do Hannys. Não precisa de top coat. É cheio de shimmer.

Deixem me explicar que embora Supernova, Andrômeda e Buraco Negro sejam óbvios, Hannys é não é; é um objeto astronômico de natureza desconhecida. Aqui está uma foto e há esse gás verde que se forma, por isso a inspiração para a cor dessa cobertura.

Ops, the pics, the pics, of course. I can assure that "in real" these pics are far more beautiful and shiny. It's far more green than in reality.

Ops, as fotos, lógico" Posso assegurar que todas as fotos, na real, são muito mais bonitas e brilhantes. Esse verniz é bem verde, mas nas fotos ele ficou ficou com esse glow azul.

Sound & Vision, thematic nails by Rock Ur Nails!

After having showed here my first thematic nails - Hard as a Rock - today I have another thematic mani, it's called Sound & Vision.
I was listening to my fave rock radio (the only one, actually), and Sound & Vision, by David Bowie, played... "blue, blue, electric blue..." It's been one of my favorite songs ever.

Depois de ter mostrado aqui minhas primeiras unhas temáticas - Hard as a Rock -  hoje eu mostro outra esmaltada temática que resolvi chamá-la de Sound & Vision.
Eu estava ouvindo minha rádio rock favorita (a única, na verdade), quando Sound & Vision, de David Bowie, tocou... "blue, blue, electric blue..." É uma de minhas músicas favoritas, de todos os tempos.

To this mani, I applied two coats of Netuno, by Passe Nati. It's a shinning and well pigmented electric blue (one of the most beautiful shades of blue available). After that, I applied one generous coat of Techno, by Lorena. This one is a very sheer polish, in fact, but plenty of shimmer, and this is the outcome that you see in the pictures. The last pic was taken without sunlight.
Despite of these three coats, this combo dried fast, the finish is very smooth and it lasted for 3 days without any chips.
And to have this awesome mani, I spent just R$ 3,30 on these two bottles.

Para essa esmaltada, eu passei duas mãos de Netuno, da Passe Nati. É um azul brilhante e bem pigmentado, um dos mais lindos que há. Depois, passei uma camada bem generosa do Techno, da Lorena. Esse esmalte é bem ralo, mas tem muito shimmer e fecha com uma bela cobertura, intensificando o Netuno. O resultado é esse que vocês veem nas fotos. A última foto foi tirada na sombra.
E para ter essas unhas temáticas, eu gastei apenas R$ 3,30 nos dois vidros de esmalte.

Desafio 6 Amarelo - Challenge # 6 Yellow

Hi, there! Here you go, another mani of this challenge of 10 Colors and 10 Brands. First part is accomplished.
Yellow ain't the most favorite color of all ladies but there are polishes that are nice to apply, and other ones that are really nasty. This one is perfect! Mostarda Atômica is part of Super Cores collection, by Colorama. It's a mustard yellow indeed, lightly pearly.
First I applied one generous coat and let it dry (about 4 minutes). Then, I applied the second coat, another generous one and... voilá! The outcome is shinny, daring and smooth. It covers the nails completely!

Aqui vai mais uma parte do desafio das 10 cores e 10 marcas. Primeira parte do desafio já cumprida.
Esmalte amarelo não é o mais popular da blogosfera esmaltística, mas há esmaltes maravilhosos e outros muito mequetrefe mesmo, que mancham e frustram.
Esse Mostarda Atômica, da coleção Super Cores, da Colorama, é perfeito. É amarelo mostarda levemente perolado e cobre bem a unha, não mancha!
Primeiro, passei uma primeira camada bem generosa. Deixei secar por uns 4 minutos e, depois, passa a segunda camada bem generosa também. Seca rápido e dura bem. 

Three days later I decided to stamp this mani, using Konad Image Plate M57. I used La Femme, black to stamp and Blant Colors, Fortuna (gold), to fill the animal print stains.

Três dias depois, resolvi carimbar essa esmaltada, usando a placa da Konad M57. Eu usei o esmalte para carimbo La Femme, e para preencher as manchinhas, usei o Blant Colors, Fortuna.

Desafio 5 Rosa - Challenge # 5 Pink

Until last year, I didn't like this color, but after applying Pink Tulipa for the first time, I fell in love with it! Nowadays, I have many bottles of this color and I like all them. Well, I applied one coat of Pink Tulipa, creamy light pink, by Beauty Color, and one coat of Toque Sexy, by Elke, another light pink, but this one is a little bit sheer and metallic. Both were application-wise and dried fast. On the accent nail, I just applied one coat of Pink Tulipa, and one coat of Rockabilly, the strongest glitter ever, which makes part of Glitter Forte collection, by Hits Speciallitá.
It was something really eye-catching, and I'm gonna do this mani again.

Até o ano passado, eu não gostava dessa cor, mas depois de usar o Pink Tulipa, da Beauty Color, me apaixonei por essa cor! Hoje em dia, eu até tenho muitos vidrinhos dessa cor e gosto de todos eles, mas de qualquer modo, eu usei uma camada desse Pink Tulipa, um delicioso rosa cremoso e uma camada do Toque Sexy, da Elke, mas esse é um pouco ralo e metálico. Ambos foram ótimos para aplicar e secaram rápido. 
No indicador, eu usei uma camada do Pink Tulipa, e uma do glitter forte Rockabilly, da Hits Speciallitá.
Realmente, foi uma esmaltada de chamar a atenção e vou fazer essa esmaltada novamente.

Revlon, Grape

Hello, guys!
Despite of saying on the other day that I had less purple polishes that I thought, I grabbed this Revlon Top Speed  two weeks ago in a drugstore. I was amazed, actually, because I've been drooling over this polish for a long time.
Grape 660 is grab attention indeed. The formula is really fast drying, and the color is far dark, the way I like it... it looks like Let's Groove, by China Glaze (at least, in the photos). It's pearly purple with pink and blue shades undertone. The brush is wonderful too. I applied two coats. It's a little bit expensive here in Brazil and it would be worthier if it had lasted more, I mean, unchippable for, at least, 3 days. In fact, it lasted 2. Well, whatever, I'm smitten with this polish, cuz' its finish and color are  striking!

Eu tinha dito outro dia que tinha menos esmaltes roxos e violetas do que pensava, e apesar disso, encontrei esse Revlon, há duas semanas atrás, na drogaria do Extra Hipermercados (sim, eles vendem Revlon!). Fiquei surpresa, pois eu vinha procurando esse Grape 660 há um bom tempo. A fórmula realmente cumpre o que promete, seca rápido e a cor é fascinante... me lembra o Let´s Groove, da China Glaze, pelo menos nas fotos. Esse Grape é um roxo perolado com um shimmer azul e rosa. A cor é bem escura, do jeito que gosto. O pincel é uma maravilha também. Eu apliquei duas camadas. Acho que aqui no Brasil ele sai um tanto caro e teria valido mais a pena se tivesse durado mais, quero dizer, sem lascas mesmo por, pelo menos, uns 3 dias. Na verdade, durou 2. Seja como for, estou apaixonada por esse verniz, pois sua cor e acabamento são surpreendentes!

Desafio 4 Marrom - Challenge # 4 Brown

Despite of this polish has made my nails rock, I'm not very into this color. I had chosen this mani some months ago and just now I've decided to show you, since I have this challenge to accomplish.
This brown polish is Miucha, by Ana Hichman. It's well pigmented, pearly, pretty nice to apply, just two coats. Two days later, I put on this Desejo de Sucesso (Success Desire) flakies, just one coat, by Passe Nati, Desejos collection. These flakies are orange, green and there's some brown if I'm not mistaken. In my humble opinion, both polishes matched. What about that?

Apesar de ter ficado ok, eu não gosto muito dessa cor. Escolhi essa esmaltada há alguns meses atrás, mas só agora, aproveitando o desafio, que resolvi posta-la. 
Esse marrom é o Miucha, da Ana Hickman, perolado, super suave para aplicar. Dois dias depois, eu apliquei uma camada desse flocado Desejo de Sucesso, da coleção Desejos, da Passe Nati. São flocados laranjas, verdes e tem um quê de marrom também, se não estou enganada. Na minha humilde opinião, esses dois esmaltes combinaram bem. Que tal?

Desafio 3 Azul - Challenge # 3 Blue

This time, I show you a perfect shade of blue. I have tons of blue polishes and you all know that I'm mad about dark shades and I found this one, by Delfin, a while ago for a bargain: R$ 1,00 each! Yep, that's it! I bought two bottles: Turquesa (Turquoise), a pearly dark blue with some purple undertone, and this Night, perfect dark, creamy, straight to the blue core.

Dessa vez, eu vos mostro um tom de azul perfeito. Eu tenho muitos azuis de vários tons, mas todas sabem que eu sou louca por tons escuros e encontrei esse verniz da Delfin, há pouco tempo atrás e por uma pechincha: R$ 1,00 cada! É isso aí, eu comprei 2 vidros: o Turquesa e esse Night, azul escuro cremoso, perfeito, sem frescuras, fechado, direto ao ponto. 

To give it a thrill, I decided to apply this Blue Moon glitter, by Sancion Angel, just on the ring finger nail. These glitters are something! There are many sizes of hexagonal and round ones and they are white, black and other shades of blue, really gorgeous!

Para dar um charme, resolvi passar esse glitter Blue Moon, da Sancion Angel, somente na unha do anelar. Esses glitters são uma coisa! Há muitos tamanhos de glitters hexagonais e redondos e eles são brancos, pretos ou variações de azul, lindos de viver!

Well, I was thinking about naming some combos that I've been trying... I don't know if this idea is original, I don't think so and I wouldn't pretend that.
For this first thematic combo, I named Hard as a Rock. I couldn't help remembering this astonishing ACDC song and this combo looked as that.

Bem, eu estava pensando em algumas misturas que tenho usado. Não sei se essa ideia de nomear esses combos de esmaltes seja original, eu não acho mesmo que seja, nem pretendo isso.
Para essa esmaltada temática, eu chamei de Hard as a Rock. Não pude evitar me lembrar dessa música incrível do ACDC e eu achei essa esmaltada super!

For this outcome, I applied 2 coats of Quartzo Fumê. It´s a well pigmented metallic dark grey, really smooth to apply, 1 coat of Diamante glitter, in fact these glitters are a little bit holo. Both bottles by Dote, Pedras Preciosas collection. To top this mani off, I applied one coat of Glitteríssima Dark, by DNA Italy. This glitter is really dark and even covered the Dote holo glitter, but it ain't affect the outcome. It really rocks!

Para esse resultado, eu apliquei 2 camadas de Quartzo Fumê. É um cinza bem escuro, metalizado, super legal de aplicar, 1 camada do glitter Diamante, que é holo. Os dois esmaltes são da coleção Pedras Preciosas, da Dote. Pra fechar, apliquei um camada do Glitteríssima Dark, da DNA Italy. Esse glitter é realmente escuro e mesmo cobriu o glitter holo da Dote, mas não afetou o resultado. Realmente, eu achei que essa esmaltada arrasou!
